Forged Steel Check Globe Valve – API 602 Compliant

The forged check globe valve is a versatile valve type that combines the flow regulation capability of a globe valve with the backflow prevention function of a check valve. Designed and manufactured in accordance with API 602 standards, this valve ensures dependable performance in demanding applications. Built from high-quality forged steel, it is available in pressure ratings such as class 800 and offers connection types including socket weld for secure and leak-free installation. Forged steel check designs, such as piston check valve and steel swing check valves, provide reliable operation by allowing flow in one direction and automatically preventing reverse flow. With its robust construction and multifunctional design, the forged check globe valve is ideal for critical industrial systems requiring both precise control and backflow protection.

The Mecco compact forged steel check valve is also designed and manufactured according to API 602, ISO 15761, and JB/T 7746 standards, with pressure ratings of CL150, CL300, CL600, CL800, and CL1500 (or PN16–PN250). For CL2500 or other pressure requirements, the valve can be designed per ASME B16.34 or GB/T 12224. Operating temperature is -29°C to 538°C. The standard design is reduced bore; full bore is available by contract specification.
