The cast steel gate valve is a robust and reliable solution widely used in industrial applications for controlling fluid flow. The Mecco cast steel gate valves are available in two main types: wedge gate valves and slab gate valves.Wedge gate valves are designed and manufactured according to API 600 and GB/T 12234 standards, with pressure ratings of CL150, CL300, CL600, CL900, CL1500, and CL2500 (or PN16–PN420). If other pressure ratings are required, ASME B16.34 or GB/T 12224 can be followed. Operating temperature is -29°C to 538°C.Slab gate valves are designed and manufactured according to API 6D and GB/T 19672 standards, with the same pressure ratings and temperature range as the wedge gate valves.
Size:
Wedge gate valve NPS 2~~NPS 42 (DN50~~DN1050), slab gate valve NPS 2~~NPS 60 (DN50~~DN1500); sizes beyond this range can be custom manufactured upon request.
Material:
Body materials are selected according to customer orders. Common cast materials include WCB, LCB, WC6, WC9, WC5, C12, C12A, CF8, CF8M, CF3, CF3M, CF10, CF10M, CF8C, CK20, CK3MCuN, A4, 5A, 6A, CN7M, CN3MN, M30C, CU5MCuC, CW6MC, CW12MW, CY40. Other uncommon materials can be customized upon request.
Trim/Stem:
Trim and stem materials are configured according to API 600 and GB/T 12234 standards or customer requirements. Wedge gate valve sealing surfaces may use 13Cr, STL, or austenitic and superior body materials. Slab gate valve seats typically feature dual soft and hard sealing, or fully hard sealing. Hard sealing materials include 13Cr, STL, ENP, WC; soft sealing materials include PTFE, RPTFE, PEEK. Gate sealing surfaces may use 13Cr, STL, ENP, WC, or other special materials customized for different hardness, resistance to specific chemical media, or extreme wear resistance.
Construction:
Bolted bonnet, pressure-seal bonnet, rising stem yoke design. Gate structures include solid wedge, double wedge, parallel single gate (with or without flow hole), or parallel double gate.
Operation:
Manual, gear-operated, electric, pneumatic, electro-hydraulic, etc.
