Cast Steel Check Valve – Reliable Backflow Prevention

Cast Steel Check Valve
The cast steel check valve is a dependable and durable valve designed to prevent reverse flow in piping systems. Built from high-quality cast steel, it offers exceptional strength and resistance to harsh operating conditions. Among its types, swing check valves are widely used for their simple design and reliable performance, allowing fluid to flow in one direction while automatically closing to stop backflow. Cast steel check valves are suitable for a variety of industrial applications, providing long service life and consistent functionality in systems handling different pressures and temperatures.

The Mecco cast steel check valves are designed and manufactured according to API 6D, API 594, BS 1868, GB/T 12235, and GB/T 12236 standards. Pressure ratings include CL150, CL300, CL600, CL900, CL1500, and CL2500 (or PN16–PN420). If additional pressure levels are required, the design can be based on ASME B16.34 or GB/T 12224. The temperature range is -29°C to 538°C.
