Knife Gate Valves for Slurry and Solid Media Handling

Knife Gate Valve
Knife gate valves are designed to handle thick, viscous, or abrasive fluids in industrial applications. Featuring a metal seat, these valves provide reliable sealing and long service life. Available in stainless steel, ductile iron, or cast iron, knife gate valves are ideal for systems that require durable gate valves capable of cutting through solids and maintaining efficient flow control.

Knife gate valves are widely used in mining, metallurgy, chemical, sewage treatment, and food processing fields. They are suitable for media containing solid particles, fibers, or suspensions, especially for handling slurry, ash, and other complex materials. MECCO knife gate valves are designed and manufactured according to ANSI/AWWA C520, MSS SP-81, MSS SP-135, JB/T 8691, and other standards, with pressure ratings of CL150, CL300, CL600, CL900, CL1500, CL2500 (or PN16\~PN420).
