Jacketed Valves for Precise Temperature Control in Industrial Processes

Jacketed Valve
Jacketed valves are designed to maintain the temperature of process media by using a full jacket that allows for steam jacketing or circulation of hot oil. The valve body is available in stainless steel or carbon steel, providing durability and resistance to corrosion. Equipped with oversize flanges, jacketed valves ensure secure connections and efficient heat transfer, making them ideal for applications where precise temperature control of process media is critical.

Insulated valves are specially designed valves with a metal jacket welded or clamped onto the valve body. The jacket is filled with steam, heat transfer oil, cooling water, cold air, or other media to maintain the valve body’s temperature under normal, heating, or cooling conditions, achieving insulation or cooling effects. This ensures normal operation of the medium, reduces heat loss, and prevents medium crystallization or solidification. Valve types include gate valves, globe valves, check valves, ball valves, and butterfly valves.
Size:
NPS1/2~~NPS24 (DN15~~DN600); production beyond this range can be customized according to customer requirements.
Material:
Body material per customer order, both cast and forged are applicable.
Internal Parts/Stem:
Configured according to body material or as per customer requirements.
Structure:
Use insulation jackets, insulation covers, insulation panels, coating insulation materials, protective shields, and thermal insulation materials. When selecting insulation methods, it is necessary to comprehensively consider valve type, environmental conditions, ease of installation, and budget, ensuring compliance with safety standards and relevant regulations. Care must be taken to avoid covering the valve operating parts to guarantee normal operation and maintenance.
Operation Mode:
Manual, gear drive, electric, pneumatic, or automatic, etc.
