For applications with extremely strict sealing requirements—such as toxic, flammable, explosive, or highly corrosive media—bellows seals are employed. Both gate valves and globe valves can be designed with bellows sealing. Their design incorporates a dual sealing structure of bellows combined with packing to ensure zero leakage.
